By now you’ve probably seen photos of MAC‘s newest collection — Alluring Aquatic. The packaging alone will hold your attention, but the real perk is actually touching it. All of the items in the Aquatic collection resembles water splashed on the packaging against a metallic, blue color. When my order came in I was surprised that not only the packaging reflected the images I’d seen online, but that it also had a 3D effect to it.
I couldn’t pass up on the unique packaging and ordered two of the lipsticks. The nude color, Enchated One, is a matte finish — super matte. It’s described as a midtone neutral pink. This nude is a little bit of a darker nude which is perfect for the Summer days. When you get a tan, lighter nudes can wash you out but this one is perfect. I’ve been paring it with a nude gloss over and it’s the perfect duo. The second lipstick I picked up was the shade Goddess of the Sea, a cremesheen. This shade is described as a deep vibrant violet and so it is.
